Tony W. Scott

Tony W. Scott of Kentwood passed away July 27, 2017 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was 53.

Tony was born October 4, 1963 in Cadillac to Milfred Tony and Virginia Marie (Glendenning) Scott.

He attended Cadillac Area Public Schools. Tony was a highly valued employee at Cordes Inc. where he worked for many years driving doubles. He loved his job and the friends he made while working there.

Tony was a loving father and a man known for giving and helping others. He absolutely loved his three grandsons and thought highly of his niece Chalicia. Tony also enjoyed riding his Harley and rode in many charity bike rides. In his spare time Tony could be found tinkering in his garage or having a back yard get together with friends.

He is survived by his children, Tony J. Scott (Amber Thorne) of Mecosta and Haley Scott of Barryton; three grandsons: Jacob, Alexander and Tony; a brother, James Scott (Rebecca Houvener) of Cadillac; a sister, Carla (Darron) Andras of Lake City; a niece, Chalicia and a nephew, Ryan; father, Milfred Tony Scott and step-father, Carl A. Wingard.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Scott Wingard.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services in Cadillac. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
