"Pat and Manda I am so very sorry about the loss of your sweet mother. She was so very kind and accepting of Dad's kids when she married him. I always respected that. She was also so very hardworking and patient and even-tempered. And I never heard her say a bad word about anyone. She did a great job raising you guys, and I am sad that I didn't get to tell her that. After we lost Dad I wanted to write her a note telling her how heroic I thought that you two were caring for him in that last week. I wanted her to know how loving and patient you were. I wish that I had done that...who would have dreamed that she would be gone so soon? May God Bless you, guide you, and strengthen you as you face this unexpected and tragic loss. "

"Prayers and hugs to Mary's family. She was such a blessing to our church where I am pianist. She loved the music and loved the people. Our church family will miss her smiles and encouragement as well as her devotion to helping others. Absent down here, but present with her Lord."
