Bryan Robert Turnbull, II

October 15, 1988 - April 28, 2018

Bryan Robert Turnbull, II of Cadillac passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. He was 29.

Bryan was born on October 15, 1988 in Pontiac, Michigan and attended school in Auburn Hills and graduated from Cadillac High School in 2007. He had been employed at Avon Protection Systems as a line lead for the powered air department since 2014.

Bryan’s favorite thing to do was fish, and since he passed away on opening day of trout season we know he was fishing in heaven and finally pain free. He also liked to cook, hunt, play basketball, guitar, wresting with all the kids, mushroom hunting, camping and just being outdoors, but above all else his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family and friends.

Throughout his battle with cancer he never complained and always kept a positive attitude. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Hospice of Michigan for their special care and support.

On June 7, 2013 in Cadillac Bryan married the love of his life Justine Bowen and that love created two beautiful children, son, Jonathan and daughter, Autumn and they survive him along with his mother, Cindy (Crystal) Knight of Cadillac, his father, Bryan Robert Turnbull (Marianne Christopher) of California; sisters: Karri (Justin) Dumas, Rebecca (Derek) Collins, and Taylor Knight (Mark Walsh) all of Cadillac; nieces and nephews: Justin Dumas, II, Hanna Dumas, Blake Collins, Dominic Collins, Sylas Knight, and Sophia Walsh; his aunt, Kim Zielinski of Cadillac; his mother-in-law, Carolann Bowen (Andy Cates) of Cadillac; sister-in-law, Ariel Bowen (Matthew Proctor) of Cadillac and their children, Theodore, Ethan, and Mckenzie.

Bryan was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Larry E. Crystal and John Turnbull, his aunt, Jackie Lynn Crystal and his brother, Jonathan Bryan Turnbull.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Cadillac with Pastor Will Markham officiating. Friends may meet the family from 4-7 PM Tuesday at Peterson Funeral & Cremation Services in Cadillac.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family. An online guestbook is available at www.petersonfh.com.
