"We moved to Byron knowing no one. In the short time we knew Mr.Cox as a neighbor, he adored our kids as if they were his own grandkids. Living next door, in the house he and Jan raised their family in, I think, gave him a reminiscate state of mind. We got to hear lots of fun fishing stories, tales of when he was younger and the legend behind his conversation piece; his handmade walking stick. We often saw him and Jan enjoying being outside in the yard together, especially when Aidan was there. We are grateful for the time we were able to share with your beloved. May you always smile fondly when you hear a tall-tale."
