August 20, 1984 - November 25, 2018
Donnelle Nichol (Franzone) Butler of Hampton, SC fell asleep and woke up in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at her home. She was 34. Donnie was born August 20, 1984 in Kalamazoo to Nicholas James Franzone Sr. and Donna Sue (Chaney) Franzone.
Known as “Donnie” to most, “Sissy” to her parents, and “Aunt Nell” to her niece Marley. She graduated from Cadillac High School where she met the love of her life, Nathanael Edward “Nate” Butler.
Donnie was always full of joy with a smile that lit up the room. She was selfless; happiest when she was helping others. She helped her neighbors by dog walking and with grocery shopping for those who could not. She loved praising her Lord and enjoyed attending Varnville First Baptist Church in Varnville, SC and Resurrection Life Church in Cadillac. Donnie loved to travel and was the definition of a people person. She loved to visit friends and family as well as see new sights.
On June 24, 2017 in Cadillac she married Nate Butler of Hampton and he survives her along with her parents, Donna Franzone of Cadillac and Nicholas Franzone, Sr. of Conroe, TX; brothers, Nicholas “Nic” Franzone, Jr. and Lucciano “Lucci” Franzone both of Cadillac; grandparents, Joe and Janeen Franzone of Conroe, TX,
grandfather, Dale Chaney of Granger, IN; niece, Marley; nephew, Brayden, all of Cadillac, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Donnie is also survived by numerous friends who will all miss her kind and loving heart, her infectious
chuckle, and her smiling face.
Donnie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sharon Chaney in 2018 and a brother, Anthony Franzone in 1988.
Memorial services will be held 1:30 PM, Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Resurrection Life Church in Cadillac with Pastor Dan Klotz officiating. Visitation will be just prior to the service. Her final resting place will be in Edwardsburg, Michigan.
