"Being an exchange student from ‘lil ‘ol Sweden in Cadillac back in 1979 had some severe challenges and when push came to shove Lori cane to my aid. I will never forget the kindness she showed me. She welcomed me full heartedly into her family without hesitation. She is the reason why I met my beautiful, kind hearted and loving American family. Sweet, sweet 💔 Lori you are now with the ones that love you most ❤️Ruth, Becky, Ruby and Pumpkin.❤️ From the very far but yet so close. Sissi "

"Many great memories of hanging out with Lori and the Swanson Clan (Jackie, Pete and Becky) on hot summer evenings on Stimson Street and carpooling to Caberfae. Lori, I'm not sure that I've ever forgiven you when in the 5th grade, you pressured me to replace the Spanish bullfighting poster in my bedroom with one of a little boy and little girl holding hands titled "First Love", but I do now :) Lori, I hope that you are now at peace and Scott, Jackie and Pete my thoughts are with you."

"Lori had a great smile and a wonderful heart. My memories of her date back to our high school days in the late 70’s. I can remember riding in her vw heading out to Olga lake signing “sweet home Alabama”. We spent a lot of time in those days sitting around camp fires listening to music and laughing. I’m not sure we solved many of the worlds major problems but our world at that time was right, fun and free. Rest In Peace Lori. "
