Carmen L. Dahlquist

January 19, 1956 - March 11, 2019

Carmen L. Dahlquist of Lake City, formerly of Greenwood, South Carolina passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at home. She was 63.

Carmen was born January 19, 1956 to Keith L. and Vera M. (Batt) Dahlquist and they preceded her in death.

While living in California Carmen worked in the film industry; serving as the assistant to the president of Mann Theatres. She then moved to Warner Brothers where she was the assistant vice president of publicity. Lastly Carmen was the vice president of financial operations for De Laurentiis Entertainment Group before retiring to stay home and raise her children.

Carmen loved her children and grandchildren and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved animals and never met a rescue she did not take in. She enjoyed sewing, antique shopping, gardening and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Stuart Gottesman of Greenwood, South Carolina; children: Katie (Dave) Garza of Camarillo, California, Jordan Gottesman of Greenwood, South Carolina and Evan Gottesman of North Hollywood, California; four grandchildren: Ella and Evelyn Garza and Stuart and Charlie Gottesman; her brother, Randy (Rachelle) Dahlquist of Hendersonville, Tennessee; uncle and aunt, Ronald and Anne Dahlquist of Cadillac; special cousins: Cindy and Jon Wiggins, Becky and Eric Fransen; special friends: Diane Sponslor, Nancy Siedman, Tina Aloanza, Janice and Dan Graham.

Private services will be held and her final resting place will be Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
