Silvia A. Torney

February 08, 1962 - May 09, 2019

 

 

Silvia A. Torney of Cadillac died Thursday afternoon May 9, 2019 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was 57. Silvia was born on February 8, 1962 in Lansing, Michigan to Vernon M. & Evelyn L. (Falor) Torney and the preceded her in death.

Silvia had lived all her life in the Cadillac area. She had worked various jobs in the area but the one that she enjoyed the most was being “Mom” to many. She loved spending time with her grandson, Desmon and really enjoyed coloring. She attended the Cadillac Revival Center.

Survivors include her 4 children: TJ Johnson of Cadillac, Ginger Johnson of Cadillac, Shannon (OJ) Secord of Lake City and James (Tanya) Eversole of Cadillac; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Rex Torney and Vernon Torney; 5 sisters: Sharon McCarthy, Sally (Dewayne) Peterson, Renee (Scott) Hills, Shelly (Tom) Payne, and Sandy (Terry) Baumann and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at the Cadillac Revival Center at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. An online guestbook is available at www.petersonfh.com.
