"To the entire Augustat family, please accept our deepest sympathies in your loss. Jerry was a great guy that we both respected in all he did for those around him. As teenagers, he always welcomed us in his home even when he wasn’t there to keep an eye on us. Thought he has left this life, know that he’ll always be with you, remember the times you had together. God bless everyone of you in the way you need."

"I know Jerry thru my First Baptist church family. In the fairly short time of knowing him, I found him to be friendly, dedicated, well respected and admired. FBC will most certainly be at a loss. May the comfort of our Savior be ever so close as family and friends mourn his passing"

We are sorry that we cannot make it to the celebration of his life because we will be traveling to Nebraska for our grandsons wedding. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. • Toni Marie augustat - Oct 3rd, 2019 9:49 am

"My dad lived his life as a life of service he loved his family and church family and loved to gather his family on Sunday for Sunday dinners. He worked most of his life at coca-cola and I remember him driving the church bus so our youth group could go to cedar point. These are some of the most significant and special times in my life. He will always be remembered as a man of service and family and so kind even to strangers I remember him giving money to a man that approached him while he was out doing the lawn at the church because the man said he was hungry and no where to go my father listened to him when he told me the story it scared me but I knew what he had did was right because he helped his fellow man that was in need. I was always your biggest admirer dad and I am so sorry that we didn't have more time together because the time we did have together was special and I will always keep u close to my heart. Love Toni Marie "
