"I already miss you with all my heart. We have been through a lot together, the good times the bad times and the ugly. My best friend through thick and thin, never afraid to tell me like it is. Going to miss our coffee time, long drives, shopping, talking and just hanging out. Mary impacted my life in a way that no one will ever understand. Mary has an awesome family and she was very proud of them all. Her greatest love being her family and her most recent great grandson that she was spending as much time as she could with. Mary lit up whenever she talked about him and couldn't wait to snuggle with him and show me pictures of the little guy whenever a new one came along. It has been a privilege to call Mary my friend and be part of her family for almost 30 years. Mary is surely dancing in heaven now with Steve. Love you my friend. "

"I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. Mary helped me out at a time of my life when I was at my lowest. She stepped up knowing that there could be consequences. She had a attitude of "Bring it". I've never forgotten that and never will. Good bye my sweet, sweet lady. May you R.I.P., God Bless. My heartfelt sympathies & condolences to all Mary's Family. Tears.........."

"We knew Mary from our Foster Grandparent Program with her volunteering at Mesick. Mary was so devoted to her community and the children there. She had a great laugh, sense of humor and a joy in her eyes. I have missed Mary in the program and am sad to hear of her passing. I will remember Mary and her great love for helping others, our fun trip to Lansing for her winning her award with the programs, and just for the person she was. You were so special Mary, I will miss you. -Ashley Redinger "

"I heard someone describe you as crafty. You were! And clever! I think you could make anything. One year we wore matching Halloween costumes (Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum) You said you were Tweedle Dum. Ha! I had no idea how to make these costumes. You had ALL the ideas. You even made us matching hats. I still have mine. We also spent a very fun day painting a tree on your wall. And the kids, you loved all the little kiddos in Mesick and they loved you back. You were a great daycare provider and volunteer Grandma at the school. Also, you gave the best hugs, not just to the little kids, but to us big kids too! Thanks for being my friend!"

"The Sun came out and your Chickadees came to visit this morning. My heart is aching, my mind whirling with so many Happy and Good Memories, Heartfelt Laughter and Treasured thoughts that we shared on so many subjects on so many of those evening calls, happy, sad and just because. You are missed my good friend and be assured that your beloved family are and will always be in my prayers. Lon says, 'You are with Steve now eternally in heaven'. So many lives affected in the moment when God took you home to rest. Rest in Peace good friend. There is a poem entitled, 'You Will Be Remembered'.....the last verse says..... And You Will Be Remembered, Each Day Right From The Start For The Memories That We Once Shared Forever live Within My Heart Your Friend, Mary "
