William F. "Bill" McIntire, Jr.

June 13, 1960 - January 16, 2013

 

 

William F. "Bill" McIntire, Jr. of Harrietta passed away Wednesday morning, January 16, 2013 at his home. He was 52. He was born June 13, 1960 in Dearborn to William and Rosalie (LaForest) McIntire.

Bill was the owner of Service Caster in Reading, Pennsylvania for 10 years, until moving back to Michigan. He enjoyed Hoxeyville as well as the Hoxeyville Music Festival. Bill also enjoyed hunting, golfing, skiing and spending time with family and friends. He was proud to hold the record for the largest buck shot in New Brunswick, Canada as well as the largest semi-irregular buck with Cabelas.

In May, 1989 in Dearborn he married the former Judith R. "Judy" Longshore and she survives him along with their sons, Michael McIntire of Lake Orion and Nickalas McIntire of Harrietta; father, William F. (Therese) McIntire, Sr.; mother, Rosalie Olds; sister Linda (Richard) Diebolt; step-sisters, Barbara (Peter) McDougal and Linda (Tony) Ball and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac with Reverend Craig Haider as celebrant. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Stand Up 2 Cancer. An online guestbook is available at www.petersonfh.com.
