Ann Louise Kellogg

Ann Louise Kellogg of Cadillac passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at The Lakeview in Cadillac. She was 83. Ann was born on September 12, 1932 in Cadillac to Lozene Robert & Mildred Ann (Laney) Sprague and they preceded her in death. Mrs. Kellogg had lived most all of her life in the Cadillac area and graduated from Cadillac High School in 1950. On September 23, 1950 in Cadillac she married Edward G. Kellogg and he preceded her in death on September 1, 2011. Ann was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac. Mrs. Kellogg was very active in Girls Scouts at every level from Brownie Leader to President of the Crooked Tree Girl Scout Council. She was an avid reader and encouraged the educational endeavors of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Kellogg was active with her children and grandchildren in all of their activities and also was involved in many group and organizations with her husband. She enjoyed traveling with family and to see family and spent her winters in Florida. Survivors include her children: Paula Kellogg (DeAnn Kamilos) of California, Robert (Janice) Kellogg of Cadillac, Michele Kellogg of Baldwin, Patti Kellogg of Cadillac, Pam (Kevin) Pomeroy of Sault Ste Marie, MI; grandchildren: Jason (Christina) Stephenson, Katie Kellogg, Ryan Kellogg, Christopher Kellogg, Alicia Kellogg, Ked (Christie) Pomeroy, Marc Pomeroy and Anika Walton-Stanciel; 5 great grandchildren: Anthony, Ana and Derek Stephenson, and Autumn & Adalyn Pomeroy, ; 1 great great grandchild, Lilly Stephenson; 3 brothers: Dean Sprague, Dave (Judie) Sprague all of Cadillac and Bruce (Jane) Sprague of Thurmont, MD; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac with Fr. Bryan Medlin as celebrant. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cadillac. Friends may meet the family from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016 with the rosary being prayed at 7:30 PM at Peterson Funeral & Cremation Services in Cadillac. Memorial contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts of America or to the Alzheimer's Association.
