Clarence D. "Pudge" Fauble

Clarence Dean "PudgeÃ¢â‚¬Â Fauble of Cadillac passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at his home surrounded by family and lifetime friends. He was 76. Pudge was born November 23, 1940 in Dighton, Michigan to John Henry and Ethel May (Fewless) Fauble. He attended Dighton and Tustin Schools and as a child attended Wesleyan Methodist Church in Dighton. When his children were young the family attended Independent Bible Church in Cadillac. Pudge was currently affiliated with Cadillac First Church of the Nazarene. Pudge was a compassionate man; always helping and putting others before himself. His favorite meal of the day was always breakfast. He loved to do yardwork and enjoyed riding on his lawnmower and snow blower. Pudge was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and took time to coach his children and grandchildren's sports teams. He personally enjoyed sports as well, playing fast pitch softball, basketball and bowling. He loved to go for rides around the lake and taking trips to visit family out of town. Pudge's love for Pepsi and his parakeet Tweety will be fondly remembered by those who knew him. He worked for Armstrong Chevrolet in the 1960's, which went well with his love for classic cars, especially his 1972 Chevy Impala convertible. Pudge retired from Avon, formerly known as Cadillac Rubber and Plastics after 40 years. The family would invite those willing to wear blue and gold to the service as a tribute to Pudge's love for University of Michigan sports teams. They would also like to thank Munson Hospice, Abram, Jennifer and Candy for excellent and compassionate care. On December 10, 1960 at Independent Bible Church in Cadillac he married the former Shirley Geraldine Jacobson and she survives him along with their children, Tony (Sue) Fauble, Angela "AngieÃ¢â‚¬Â Fauble all of Cadillac; grandchildren, Josiah "JoeyÃ¢â‚¬Â Fauble of Orlando, Florida and Mariah Fauble of Cadillac; siblings: Clifford (Donna) Fauble, VirJean Fauble and Linda (Bob) Oyler all of Cadillac; sister-in-law, Maryon (Richard) Sowton of Lansing; Godson, Matthew Holm (Jamie) of Alger and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his parents; an infant son, Troy; an infant grandson, Joshua; a brother, Clayton (Bonnie) Fauble; a sister, Nelda England; parents-in-law, Roland and Opal Jacobson and in-laws: Betty, Ardith, Jack, Betty. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Cadillac First Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Steve LaLone officiating.
