Anthony R. Beam

Anthony R. Beam, of McBain, passed away suddenly Friday afternoon, November 1, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. He was 20. He was born on September 9, 1993, in Cadillac. In 2012, he graduated from Cooley High School in Cadillac. He had been employed at Wrights Customs Body Shop in Cadillac for the past eight months after moving back to the area from Kentucky. Anthony loved art, drawing, movies and hanging around with his friends and playing with his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his mother, Jodi Beam of Cadillac; sisters: Desiree (Blake) Doolittle and Danielle Beam both of Lake City; a brother, Tyler Gray of Manton; grandmother, Janet Liddy and great-grandmother, Thelma Smith both of McBain; eight nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Steven Liddy and great-grandfather, Phil Smith. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Manton Free Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Thompson officiating. Friends may meet the family from noon until service time at the church in Manton. Anthony's final resting place will be Lucas Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
