Beverly Ruth Fredell

July 29, 1941 - October 14, 2013

Beverly Ruth Fredell of Cadillac passed away Monday morning, October 14, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. She was 72. She was born on July 29, 1941 in Cadillac to Harold W. & Lennah G. (Olmstead) Coffel and they preceded her in death. Beverly graduated from Cadillac High School and had been employed at Calvert Nursing Home, Four Winns and Mercy Hospital in Cadillac for over 15 years and retired in 1995. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, all types of deer hunting, and she loved flowers and gardening. She was passionate about her dogs and was a life member of the ASPCA. Beverly attended the Northland Community Church. She was a giver and enjoyed helping people. Survivors include her significant other of 30 years, Richard "Dic†Fisk of Cadillac; her children: Kathleen (Mark) Calkin, Mark Fredell, and Gerald "JD†(Sandy) Fredell all of Cadillac; 6 grandchildren: Mark (Maegan) Calkin, Paul Calkin, Ashley Rumola, Nicole Calkin Jones, Trisha Poirer, Jayde Fredell, Kelcy Fredell, Nikki (Walt) Kempisty and Robert Langworthy, Jr.; 16 great grandchildren; 7 brothers & sisters: William (Susan) Coffel, Frank (Laurie) Coffel, and Harold Coffel all of Cadillac, Tim (Ann) Coffel of Manton, Mary Mishler and Elnor Wetherall both of Cadillac and Marie Franklin of Mesick; many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Pastor Pat Milligan officiating. Friends may meet the family from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
