Carol I. Johnson

Carol I. Johnson of Fenton, Missouri, formerly of Jackson, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 at her home. She was 75. She was born April 8, 1938 in Alpena, Michigan to William and Gretchen (Freese) Grace and they preceded her in death. She worked as a secretary for Napoleon Public Schools in Jackson, Michigan from 1977 and retired in 1991 and had been employed at 7-11's in St. Louis until August of this year. She was married to Richard T. Johnson for 20 years and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1986. She is survived by her children: Thomas (Norma) Johnson of Fenton, Missouri, Kerri (Jerry) Andrus of Jackson, Michigan and Valorie (Brian) Helt of St. Louis, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; her companion Tom Kimes of Fenton, Missouri and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, James Grace and a sister, Alene Pellegrino. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Reverend Brian Seifert officiating.
