Caroline Elizabeth McQueen

MCBAIN - Caroline Elizabeth McQueen, age 78, of Marion died on July 18, 2011 at Pheasant Lake Lodge Assisted Living near Cadillac. She was born in Clinton County on April 22, 1933 to Ted F. and Doris Elizabeth (Wheaton) Jackson. She had previously been married to Norman E. McMann, who passed away in 2005. She married Warren Melvin McQueen in 1975 in Clinton, Co. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1999. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, John Wayne, sewing and doing different kinds of craftwork. Early in her life, she took a welding course and enjoyed welding. She loved all of her family and will be greatly missed by them. She was affiliated with the Resurrection Life Church which met north of Marion. She is survived by her children, Norman E. (Frances) McMann of Craig, Colo., Terrie (David) Miller of Greenville, and Carrie (Bill) Revolt of Marion; stepdaughter, Sandra McQueen of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronald (Betty) Jackson of Hersey, and Mary (John) Giddings of Rodney. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dick Jackson and Barb Patrick. Time and place of memorial services will be announced at a later date.
