Connie Jo Wagner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Connie Jo Wagner of Cadillac passed away, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at her home. She was 77. She was born September 9, 1936 in Cadillac to Joseph and Margaret (Shafer) Jurik and they preceded her in death. Connie graduated from Cadillac High School in June of 1954 and after graduation worked in a law office. She married Raymond Edward W "Eddie Ray - EdÃ¢â‚¬Â Wagner on February 15, 1958 in Cadillac and the couple moved to Wurtsmith Air Force Base then to England for his last year of enlistment. Upon returning to Cadillac Connie worked for the prosecuting attorney and later for Kysor of Cadillac where she was the Senior Administrative Secretary, Fleet Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Divisional President. She retired from Kysor in 1996. Connie was a member of Saint Ann Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, watching good movies, talking with friends via the computer, reading, watching deer in her front yard. She also enjoyed traveling to Rome, Switzerland, gardening and her plants. She is survived by her children Joe (Becki) Wagner and Michelle Wagner all of Cadillac; grandchildren: Brandy (David) Hilton, Joseph Cornell, Kayla Scates, Zachary Reed and Ashlea Reed and a great grandchild, Lynnzie Hilton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband on April 18, 1979. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Deacon Jim Siler officiating. Friends may meet the family Sunday from 5-7 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Banker Cemetery in Hoxeyville.
