Dennis Paull Engler

Dennis Paull Engler of Cadillac passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Tustin. He was 69. He was born December 1, 1942 in Flint to Harold W. and Ruth Mae (Paull) Engler, Sr. Dennis had served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He received his Associate\'s Degree from Ferris State University. He later retired from Avon Rubber and Plastics after working there for thirty years. Dennis was a member of the AMVETS Post #110 and the American Legion Post #94 both of Cadillac. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and reading. He is survived by his brother, Harold “Bill†(Sheree) Engler, Jr. of Tustin; nephews, Aaron (Holly) Engler of Lansing and Anthony (Elizabeth) Engler of Ionia and a great-neice, Ruth Engler. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Lena Engler. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Reverend Karen Henderlong officiating. Friends may meet the family from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home as well as one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Burdell Township Cemetery in Osceola County with full military rites under the auspices of the Cadillac Area Honor Guard.
