Edwin T. Reband

Edwin T. Reband of Cadillac passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Green Acres Retirement Living where he received wonderful and loving care from the staff. He was 87. He was born January 4, 1925 in Detroit to Louis “Leo†and Clara R. (Frankowiak) Reband. He married the former Martha L. McLaughlin on September 5, 1953 in Utica, Michigan and she preceded him in death on February 26, 2009. For many years Eddie and his wife, Martha owned and operated Green Glen Park and Coachman\'s Lounge in Shelby Township, until retiring and moving to Cadillac in 1983. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, bowling and playing cards. Survivors include children: Thomas (Sharon) Reband of Shelby Township, David (Sherri) Reband of Leroy, Steven Reband of Whitney, Texas and Cheryl (Patrick) Burke of Los Gatos, California; eight grandchildren: Kelly, Heidi, Ciera, Dylan, Kaylynn, Delanie, Brianna and Garett; three great grandchildren: Brady, Paige and Joshua and a brother, Jerry Reband of Lenox, MI. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Harold & Eugene Reband and a sister, Charlotte DeVlaminck. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Reverend Jim Johnson officiating.
