Evelyn R. Reavely

February 23, 1930 - June 10, 2014

Evelyn R. Reavely, 84, passed away at her home in Lake City on June 10, 2014. She was born on February 23, 1930 in Dosburg, Wisconsin to Godfried and Frieda (Duss) Moser. After living many years in the Grand Rapids area, she moved to Cadillac in 1972. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids for over 20 years. She had a rich, varied and fulfilling career and retired from WadeTrim Associates in Cadillac in 1989. She and her husband, Bill, spent many wonderful winters at their home in Lakeland, Florida; where they enjoyed golfing, watching the Detroit Tigers, swimming, walking and spending time with their many friends. They returned to the Cadillac area each summer where she enjoyed dancing, music, reading and her many volunteer activities. They were avid Michigan State Spartans. Evelyn is survived by her children, David (Sandy) Pearson, Carl (Linda) Pearson; stepdaughter, Suzanne (Robert) Barton; stepson, Bruce (Laurie) Reavely; grandchildren: Andrea, Eric, Alexander, Christopher, Victoria, Cailee and Laura Pearson, Matthew Barton, Matthew Foles and Scott, Nicholas and Lauren Reavely. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Reavely; her son, Mark Pearson; a sister, Helen Wright and a brother, Jack Moser. She will be buried in Burdell Township Cemetery on Saturday, June 21, 2014. The family will celebrate her life following the burial.
