Gloria J. Warner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gloria J. Warner of Cadillac passed away Sunday August 12, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. She was 84. She was born June 1, 1928 in Hubbell, Michigan to Charles and Pearl (Pomroy) Senne. On April 14, 1951 she married Warren Donald Warner at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, Arizona and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2001. Mrs. Warner was a member of the United Methodist Church of Cadillac and was also a member of the Naomi Circle, the choir and Wesley Fellowship there. She was a member of PEO (Protect Each Other) in Cadillac. Mrs. Warner was born and raised in Michigan and lived in the state until her husband retired and they moved to Florida. In 2003 they moved back to Cadillac to be close to family. She was a huge animal lover and loved to sew. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, family history and family gatherings. She is survived by her son and daughter, Paul W. (Michele) Warner and Gayle R. (John) Dixon all of Cadillac; grandchildren: Kelly (Ryan) Winter, Becky (Blair) Freeman, Erik (Jessie) Warner and Andrew and Chelsea Dixon; one great grandson, Lucas Freeman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren; a brother, Robert Senne; a sister, Marion Aubin and a nephew Gary Swetich. Celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the United Methodist Church of Cadillac with Parish Assistant Judy Coffey officiating. Friends may meet the family from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
