Irving L. Maynard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Irving L. Maynard of McBain passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at Autumnwood of McBain. He was 70. He was born July 12, 1941 on his grandparents\' farm in Milford Township, Oakland County to Byron L. and Margaret M. (Montreial) Maynard and they preceded him in death. Irving graduated from Marion High School in 1960 and had worked at Fisher Body and General Motors in Willow Run, Super Tool in Elk Rapids, Northwood Manufacturing and Rempco in Cadillac. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cadillac. He enjoyed deer hunting during bow and rifle season and being with his family. On July 29, 1961 in Marion he married the former Darlene Davis and she survives him along with their children, Kenneth (Julietta) Maynard of Dearborn Heights and Edward Maynard of Lucas; grandchildren, Kimberly Maynard of Dearborn Heights and Lyrene (Maracella) Andres of the Philippines; great- grandchildren: Icely, Casey, Kyle, Kenneth and Lyrene all of the Philippines; brothers, Byron (Donna) Maynard of Lucas and William Maynard of Lake City. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, LaRay Maynard. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Cadillac with Reverend David McMahon officiating.
