Lee Bushor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lee Bushor of Cadillac passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at Autumnwood of McBain. He was 73. He was born in Detroit to George and Irma Evelyn (Cowan) Bushor on May 25, 1938. On July 16, 1966 he married the former Karen J. Peterson, who preceded him in death on March 19, 2005. He later married the former Wilma D. (Elenbaas) Cass on June 24, 2006. Mr. Bushor graduated from Cadillac High School. He had been employed at Western Concrete since he was 18 years old. In 1993 he went to work for Saginaw Vault Company and retired in 2000. Mr. Bushor was affiliated with Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Cadillac. He enjoyed: hunting, fishing, NASCAR, camping, snowmobiling, mushroom hunting and two tracking. He was a fan of all Detroit sports including; the Redwings, Tigers, Lions and Pistons. He especially loved spending time with his grandson, Jake. He is survived by his wife, Wilma of Cadillac; son, Jeff Bushor of Cadillac; daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Banks of Cadillac; grandson, Jake Bushor; step daughter, Diana (Al) Annibali of Grand Rapids; step grandchildren: Alexis, Adrian and Annalise; many nieces, nephews and in laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Karen and a brother, Jim Bushor. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Cadillac with Reverend Joel Hess officiating. Friends may meet the family Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac. Burial will be at Cherry Grove Township Cemetery in Cadillac.
