Louis N. Pedrin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Louis N. Pedrin of Cadillac died Thursday May 26, 2011 at the home of his sister. He was 60. He was born in Cadillac to Moes and Jean (Archer) Pedrin on July 17, 1950 and they preceded him in death. He was a Vietnam United States Navy Veteran serving. Louis had been a machinist at AAR for over 20 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge Post 531 of Cadillac and enjoyed going to MIS to watch the NASCAR races and sitting by a campfire. Survivors include his son Louis N. Pedrin of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Rachel Pedrin (Henry Curley) of New Jersey; grandchildren Troy and Kevin; brothers: David (Kay) Pedrin of Cadillac and Ronald Pedrin of Leroy; sisters: Ethel Hilder of Louisville, KY, Carol Pedrin of Cadillac, Lynda (Rick) Fritcher of Traverse City, Viola (Ken) Howell of Cadillac and Ruth Edwards of Cadillac; sister in law, Brenda Strzynski of Boon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother in law, George Hilder; nephews: Brian Hilder and Robert Ochko and a niece Stephanie Roper. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Elder Dave Siddall officiating. Burial will be at Haring Township Cemetery, Wexford County with full military rites under the auspices of the Cadillac Area Honor Guard. Friends may meet the family from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home, with a Broken Circle Service at 7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Michigan.
