Louise Cabell (Warren) Wyman of St. Louis, Missouri formerly of Cadillac died June 10, 2011 in St. Louis, Missouri where she had lived for the last 6 years in order to be close to family members. She was 94. She was born on December 28, 1916 in Chatham, Virginia to Charles R. & Henrietta (Reynolds Watkins) Warren. Louise graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University and received her Master\'s Degree in English Literature from Central Michigan University. She married Paul Bartrum Wyman (Lawyer, City Attorney and Friends of the Court for Wexford County and surrounding counties) on June 10, 1940 and moved first to Colorado where she received her teaching certificate from Western State College in Gunnison, CO. She taught in a one room school house near Pagosa Springs and would get to work by riding a horse. They later would move to Kalakska and after several years moved to Cadillac in 1956. In 1961 she began to teach Senior English in Cadillac and retired in 1975. Louise was an avid gardener, Life Master in Contract Bridge, Cub Scout Den Mother, and had volunteered at the hospital gift shop doing silk flower arrangements. Survivors include her sons: Warren (Pat) Wyman and Michael (Julia) Wyman; grandchildren: Deborah Nieuwendall, Michael Wyman, Justin Wyman, Katharine Wyman, Anne Wyman and Sam Wyman as well as 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1984. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 17, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in Cadillac with Reverend Paul Tomlinson officiating. Private burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac. Friends may meet the family at the church prior to services on Friday.
