Marjorie A. Richards

Marjorie A. Richards of Cadillac passed away Friday morning, February 22, 2013 at Country Oaks AFC with great care by Rhonda and Richard Ranville and Mercy Hospice. She was 90. She was born June 2, 1922 in Cadillac to Dale and Edith (Clauson) Taylor. On July 3, 1938 in Indiana she married Charles E. Richards and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1991. Marjorie had worked at Johnson Hardware, Mercy Hospital and Clipper Craft before retiring from H.L. Green Store in Cadillac. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and walking. She is survived by her son, Harry (Kathleen) Richards of Cadillac; 5 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; two brothers, Merrill Taylor of Cadillac and Larry Taylor of Spokane, Washington and a sister, Juanita Wilson of Zeeland. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Darel D. Richards on April 9, 1991; two infant children and two brothers, Dean and Skip Taylor. In accordance with her wishes no services will be held. Her final resting place will be Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac. Arrangements were made by the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac.
