Nancy Louise Sundell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nancy Louise Sundell, of Lake City, passed away quietly with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She was 70. She was born on November 25, 1941, in Cadillac to Howard and Lucille (Mishler) Cooley. Nancy attended Cadillac High School, graduating in 1959. She married Edward Sundell on June 11, 1959, at the Lake City Methodist Church. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2009. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her three daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to auction sales, going to the U.P. camping and fishing, playing aggravation and spoons with her husband and friends. She loved baking pies on Thanksgiving and Christmas for her family. She is survived by husband, Edward Sundell of Lake City; daughters Deb (Sonny) Lewis, Denise Londake and Daphne Sundell, all of Lake City; in-laws, Lois Sundell and Elaine Klahn, both of McBain, and Jeanne (Don) Culver of Bear Lake; grandchildren, Tim (Kristy) Lewis, Nathan (Anneke) Londake, Danielle Lewis, Rod (Katie) Lamont and Nickolas (Amanda) Londake; great-grandchildren, Miya Leschinski, Mackenzie and Timothy Jr. Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Cooley, infant brothers, grandparents Edith and George Mishler, father-in-law and mother-in-law Leo and Madalynn Sundell, brother-in-law Leroy Sundell, and niece Jaunita Richardson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Burkholder Funeral Home in McBain. Officiating will be the Rev. Randy Jenkins, with burial in Lucas Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
