Patricia A. O'Meara of Cadillac passed away Sunday morning June 23, 2013 at the Covenant Medical Center – Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan. She was 84. She was born September 18, 1928 in Bay City to Jacob Herman and Grace May (Eggle) Reiter. Mrs. O'Meara graduated from Saginaw High School. She later moved to Bay City where she married Robert T. O'Meara on September 30, 1950. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1990. Mrs. O'Meara enjoyed working with stained glass, baking bread, sewing and gardening. She was active and enjoyed exercising and being physically fit. She restored antique furniture and clocks as well as refurbishing old homes. Mrs. O'Meara was a member of Saint Ann Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Michael (Billie) O'Meara of Tawas City and Shannon O'Meara (Jerry Kneller) of Chicago; grandchildren, Peggy Brockman and Stephanee O'Meara; three great grandchildren; a sister, June Schattilly of Tustin and nieces, Mary Lou Schattilly and Pam Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Doris Reiter. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2013 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac with Deacon Jim Siler officiating.
