Paul Dean Miller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Paul Dean Miller of McBain died suddenly Monday, December 26, 2011 at his home. He was 54. He was born December 27, 1956 in Cadillac to Forest & Ardice I. (George) Miller and they preceded him in death. Paul graduated from McBain High School and had spent all his working years on the family farm. The most important thing to him was his family. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards (poker), socializing with friends and relatives, softball and watching sports on television. Paul was a member of the Cadillac Moose Lodge #531. On August 18, 1993 in Lake City he married the former Luona â€œLoniâ€ Tennant and she survives him along with sons: Jack (Meegan) Miller of McBain and Jesse Miller of Cadillac; step children: Chris (Linda) Tennant of Wilmington, NC and Leah (Bryan) Barkhoff of Gobles; grandchildren: Madison Miller, Jack Miller of McBain and Kayla Barkhoff and Rocco Barkhoff of Gobles; sisters: Joan Tossey of Cadillac, Alice (Larry) Mishler of Plymouth, Nancy Fahrner of McBain, and Marcia (Kevin) Fredricks of McBain; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-son, Corey A. Parker in 2010. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Reverend Paul Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be at Lucas cemetery in Missaukee County. Friends may meet the family from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
