Phyllis K. Fisher

Phyllis K. Fisher of Cadillac died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. She was 65. She was born in Brown City, MI on May 28, 1946 to Stuart and Louise (Fick) Gardner. She married James L. Fisher November 5, 1982 in Flint, MI. Phyllis graduated from Flint Northern High School and had lived in Cadillac since 1982. She had worked at Paulstra CRC for 18 years and then at Mercy Hospital for 5 years. She attended the Rollins Christian Fellowship Church in Manton. She is survived by her husband, James; a son William Kline of Casper, WY; daughters: DeAnn Kline of Cadillac and Taunya Blundell of Daytona Beach, FL; stepchildren: Lori (Leonard) TerBush of Millington, Cory (Kelly) Fisher of Davison, Kyle (Marie) Fisher of Fisher, IN, and Kari (Michael) Seidell and Kirk (Joy) Fisher all of Millington; 12 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; brothers: Larry (Karen) Lloyd of Florida and Richard (Heidi) Schwerin of Davison; sisters: Linda Rice (Bob Quillen) of Pontiac, Janet (Jon) Seitters of North Carolina, Randi (Steve) McFarlane of Flint, Agnes (Greg) Anderson of Newport, TN and many nieces, nephews, and sisters and brothers- in- law. She was preceded in death by her father, Stuart Gardner, stepmother, Stella Gardner, mother, Louise Schwerin, stepfather, Walter Schwerin, grandson, Jesse Montney and a son Jackie Kline. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at 11:00 am at Hansen Funeral Home, 421 N. Main Street, Davison, MI with Reverend Robert Lanning officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac and at the Hansen Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 pm. Burial will take place at Meadowview Memorial in Davison.
