Phyllis J. Kline Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Phyllis J. Kline of Cadillac died Sunday morning March 13, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. She was 86. She was born on April 15, 1924 in Rose City, Michigan to William & Edith (Jones) Buck and they preceded her in death. On April 13, 1946 in Lake City she married Bernard J. Kline and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1975. Phyllis had been employed at BF Goodrich and Rexair in Cadillac and retired in 1986. She enjoyed flowers, embroidering, reading and doing crafts. Survivors include her daughters: Beverly (Jerry) DeRuiter and Phylla (Keith) DeRuiter all of Falmouth; 7 grandchildren: Bill (Missy) DeRuiter, Krista (Travis) Winkle, Bernie DeRuiter, Matt (Kim) DeRuiter, Heather DeRuiter, Todd (Bobbi) DeRuiter and Wes DeRuiter; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ona Kline of Flushing; sister-in-law, Lucy Kline of Montana. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Warren Buck; sister, Cleo Barber; brothers-in-law: Francis Kline, Larry Kline and Ben Barber. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Reverend Larry D. Baar officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
