Randy Robert Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Randy Robert Taylor, of rural Marion, passed away at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. He was 57. He was born to Robert Dean and Yvonne \"Bonnie\" (Beckelic) Taylor on Jan. 19, 1955, in Cadillac. Randy had gone to Ferris State in Big Rapids for two years and had worked as an electrician for most of his working years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 498 in Traverse City. He retired in 2011. For over 33 years, he attended the Cadillac Church of Christ and was presently attending the Highland Christian Reformed Church. He had done many missionary works throughout his life, going to Honduras to help build shelters, helping different people in need with building projects and would never turn someone down who asked for help. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, bird watcher, gardener, camper and horticulturist. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Nicole â€œNicciâ€ (Brice) Mosher of Falmouth, and Nadine Taylor of Detroit. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Michaela Whitt, Shelby Whitt, Kara Mosher, Sophie Mosher and Adline Taylor; his father and stepmother, Robert D. and Paula Taylor of McBain; siblings, Tim (Jan) Taylor, Tom (Karen ) Taylor, all of McBain, Rick (Laurie) Taylor of Howell, Terry (Kathy) Taylor of McBain, and Kathie (Rich) Gengler of LeRoy. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Taylor, and his mother, Yvonne \"Bonnie\" Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Highland Christian Reformed Church, with the Rev. Keith Mannes officiating. Burial will take place in the Lucas Cemetery.
