Roger C. Myers

January 7, 1927 - May 6, 2014

Roger Clarence Myers of Cadillac passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Enchanted Acres AFC Home in Cadillac. He was 87. He was born on January 7, 1927 in Merritt to Clarence & Pearl (O'Leary) Myers and they preceded him in death. He spent his adult working years at Federal Mogul in Greenville, Michigan and he also lived in Florida and California before moving back to Michigan in his later years. He is survived by his children: Marcy, Roger & Eric and several grandchildren all of Arkansas; siblings: Keith Myers of Greenville, Blanche (Gordon) Randall of Vancouver, Wash., Carolyn (Stan) Estrada of Lake City, Betty Jones of Berne, TX, and Kathy (Darrell) Hull of West Branch; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorotha Thompson-Glasier, brothers-in-law: Howard Thompson, Bill Glasier and Troy Jones, sister-in-law Darlene Myers and a niece, Shawne Felsk, and the love of his life, Phyllis Lamphere on May 11, 2013. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Butterfield Township Cemetery in Missaukee County with Pastor Wayne VanDuinen officiating.
