Ruth Ann Stoll

April 28, 1969 - June 25, 2011

Ruth Ann Stoll, “Devoted Wife\', of Boon died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. She was 42. She was born in Cadillac on April 28, 1969 to Jay W. and Jane Ann (Gross) VanderBrook. She had lived all her life in the Cadillac area and graduated from Cadillac High School in 1987. She had worked in Cadillac at Mercy Hospital and for Dr. Bizzigotti, Baird, Bishop and Cotter and Northern Lakes Mental Health. She loved to line dance, doing crafts, painting, car racing and drag racing with her husband. She loved to bring joy to people and was known for her laughter. She was a member of Cadillac Moose Lodge #531 and many support organizations such as the one for Crohn\'s Disease and for animal shelters both locally and nationwide. On June 25, 1987 in Cadillac she married James “Jim†Stoll and he survives her along with her mother, Jane Ann (Duff) Lueder of South Carolina; her father, Jay (Tamara) VanderBrook of Harrison; sisters: Susan K. Daniels and Katherine J. “Katie†Budd all of Cadillac; mother-in-law, Freda Stoll of Cadillac; her pets, that were like her children, Daisy, Holly and Ginger; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Jesse Gross and Otis and Alice VanderBrook and father-in-law, William Stoll. Memorial celebration of life service will be held 12 Noon Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Moose Lodge # 531, 7461 E. 34 Rd., Cadillac with Reverend David L. McMahon officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Wexford County Humane Society for Spay and Neutered Pets. Arrangements were made through Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac.
