Sharon Marie Kotlark

May 23, 1941 - June 15, 2013

Sharon Marie Kotlark of Cadillac passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Curry House Assisted Living in Cadillac. She was 72. She was born on May 23, 1941 in Cadillac to Clarence E. & Esther G. (Graham) Oswalt and they preceded her in death. On October 12, 1962 in Cadillac she married James Lester Kotlark and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2002. Sharon attended school in Cadillac. She was a hard working woman and her most recent employment was as a vendor at Meijer in Cadillac. Sharon loved her dogs and enjoyed raising German Shepherds. She also enjoyed riding horses, camping, traveling and in particular going to Jamaica, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends and was very supportive of her grandchildren in every way. Survivors include her daughters: Rennee (Doug) Alderman, Susan (Mark) Sigler, Roxanne (Brad) DuFort and Sherri (Steve) Healey all of Cadillac; 12 grandchildren: Melissa (Drew) Bismack, Quinton Alderman, Heath (Kattie) Sigler, Troy (Barb) Sigler, & Alex, Taylor, Austin Sigler, Dustin & Zachary Brown, Garrett DuFort, and Jordan & Cameron Healey; a brother, Robert Oswalt of Cadillac; sisters: Nancy McAllister of Baldwin and Linda Welch of Cadillac. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 brothers. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013 at her residence from 1-4 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Curry House Assisted Living and the family would like to thank the staff and the friends that she made there for their loving care.
