Steven L. Toupin

Steven L. Toupin of Boon died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Sunshine Home in Manton. He was 46. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 6, 1964 to Hubert L. & Maria C. (Aulfinger) Toupin and moved to the Cadillac area in 1972. In 1983 he graduated from Cadillac High School. During his high school years he had been employed at Thirsty\'s (Elm Rest) and after that he had been employed at Avon as a Lab Chemist for 25 years. Steve was confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Cadillac. He enjoyed working with stereo equipment, music and movies. His hobbies included wood working, swimming, cruising, hanging with his friends, automotive, helping his parents and he loved his dog Jacob. Survivors include his parents, Hubert and Maria Toupin of Boon; brothers and sisters: Gregory (Corrine) Toupin, Denise Weston all of Boon, Dr. Suzanne Toupin (Rev. Rex Franklin) of Grayling, and Kevin Toupin of Cadillac; nephews: Chris Weston of Boon and Kyle Weston of Littleton, CO; nieces: Lisa Herron of Cass Lake, MN and Matisan Vanderhoef of Boon. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 11, 2011 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Cadillac with Reverend Joel Hess officiating. Friends may meet the family from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at Peterson Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Banker Cemetery in Hoxeyville, Wexford County.
