Linda Lorea Bugeia

Linda Lorea Bugeia of Mesick passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Munson Medical Center with her beloved husband, Andy at her side. She was 60. Linda was born October 3, 1962 in Garden City, Michigan to T. Lane and Barbara (Griner) Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Becky Goch. Linda and Andy were married on July 23, 2005 and were planning to renew their vows in the Catholic Church this year. In addition to her cherished husband, she is survived by their son Jacob, brothers: Bruce Davis and Byron (Shelly) Davis, sister: Terresa (Mike) Ramsay, niece: Tina (Jason) Terpevich, nephew: Dean (Tammy) Oatman, the ‘Super 8’ nieces and nephews: Melody, Courtney, BreAnne, Carley, Kate, Dimitrie, Brent and Alexander, mother-in-law: Mary Bugeia, sister-in-law: Laura (Kevin) Weston, brother-in-law: Joe Bugeia and nephews: Karl Weston and Erik (Abigail) Weston. She earned an associate degree in Interior Design, and excelled at capturing her clients’ visions and desires into beautiful and highly functional designs. This creativity spilled over into every aspect of her life; she was an amazing chef and loved to make wonderful feasts for family and friends, she sewed costumes for nieces and nephews and was a master at party planning; she made every event or gathering memorable. Linda had a strong sense of family and consistently took care of everyone, frequently putting herself last. She loved to go rustic camping with Andy, Jacob and Tula in the Upper Peninsula; anyone who had the opportunity to drop in on them was treated to the most amazing cuisine made over an open campfire. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Saint Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac with Rev. Fr. Michael Janowski as celebrant. Friends may meet the family Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services in Cadillac. Her final resting place will be Antioch Township Cemetery.
